To start with, you should know that this mission has it’s origins in a love of God and a great enthusiasm for participation in the outdoor world He created. The series was actually inspired by Brent Leegwater, one of our cameramen for the broadcast television program "The Wilderness Journal." We were driving back from a speaking engagement at a men’s Christian outreach dinner in central Michigan. Somewhere along the way, Brent commented that he had enjoyed the video presentation, (based on our show), that I had put together for that evening. He then rather casually stated; "I wish you could make a bunch of programs like that one for my men’s Bible study group." "Maybe then more guys would show up and I wouldn’t be fighting to stay awake half the time." Friends, I believe the saying goes; "From your lips to God’s ear!"

    As the producers of "A Hunt for the Truth" series, both Brent and I feel it’s important for you to know at least a few things about us. First and foremost, we are believers and we share with our wives, children, parents, brothers and sisters, a real and living faith. We are truly a family in Christ, and together we all share the calling to try to spread His word.

    As you watch these programs it will become obvious that the members of the Two Wolves family are avid hunters and fishermen and as such we truly relish our time afield. We feel that each day spent on God’s Door Step, as we like to call it, is a great blessing and a great opportunity. We have seen first hand how a love of the out-of-doors can bring individuals from all walks of life together and can serve as the foundation for great conversations and personal testimony (usually hunting and fishing stories). In this mission we intentionally utilize the entertainment and comfort level found in that out-door participation and then add thought-provoking questions and suggest some applicable Scriptures for discussion.

    Lastly, it is not our intention to tell anyone else how to believe, live, act, or minister. We simply hope that by sharing the excitement and inspiration we ourselves have found, we can provide an effective tool for those who wish to become ""fishers of men""..
